The Ohio State Alumni Club of Northeast Florida

Proudly Presents

"An Evening with Jeff Logan…

Comparing and Contrasting Woody Hayes to Jim Tressel.”

TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse-Sunset Room

March  24, 2009

Coming to Ohio State in 1974 as a back up tailback to Archie Griffin, 1978 OSU alumnus Jeffrey D. Logan played on four Big Ten Conference Championship football teams, started in 1976 and 1977, was Co-Captain of the 1977 team and was awarded All Big 10 first team and Academic All-American honors. Jeff also has founded the "Logan Family Foundation" which holds a charity Golf tournament every year, with proceeds being used for a variety of charitable organizations and causes. Following a brief career with the Colts, Jeff returned to Columbus and founded Jeffrey D. Logan and Company. Jeff is a past president of the Men’s Varsity “O” Alumni Association and a member of the Columbus Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame. Jeff continues to be involved in football as a media football analyst. Jeff is married to the former Dena Barry, an OSU alumnus and former varsity cheerleader. The Logan’s have two children and reside in Dublin, Ohio. The following video is terrific:

                                           Meet and Greet

The Alumni Association has planned a fun evening at the spectacular TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse that will be enjoyable to all Buckeyes, their families, and friends. This is a great way to connect with Ohio State graduates as well as meet a lot of Buckeyes that now live in Northeast Florida. Jeff’s presentation will provide us a scouting report on the 2009 season and then focus on “How Jim Tressel’s Buckeye teams compare to the Woody Hayes Teams.” The meet and Greet will be from

“How would some of Woody’s All-Americans fare in today’s wide open offense?”

“Can any of Tressel’s recruits hit like Jack Tatum!”

The cost is $15 per person if ordered in advance and $20 at the door. Children, 15 and under, will be admitted free. Light hors d’oeuvres will be provided along with a cash bar. Proceeds will benefit The Ohio State Scholarship Program. View the order page on the Activities section, use the tab above.

 International Studies Graduation Reception 08

We are an international institution. When you see our OH - IO scripts on TV, from all over the world, it is true. It is important to know that there are now ways to keep in touch with the old, the new, and the international at OSU.

The International students celebrate autumn graduation story on the International Affairs web site includes a photo slideshow from the reception and links for you to download the photos.

All the event photos are available online at Facebook or Picasa - please use the links below to view, link to, share, tag or download the photos.
